Founded in 2011, Harvest Hospitality Group remains the union of two of central New Jersey's culinary stalwarts.
Back in 1991, in Princeton, Chez Alice opened a cafe that would stimulate the local residents' taste buds for years to come. Over time, that would evolve into a full fledged catering operation, offering superior quality to the discerning palate.
Similarly, on the shores of the Raritan, American Harvest opened a market to much fanfare in 1993. Offering sandwiches, catering services, a bakery as well as gift baskets, the business has transitioned over the years to focus on BBQ and catering for all occasions.
The Tigers and Knights now play nice, along with Midnight Moon Cakery and two food trucks, Harvest BBQ and O'Lobster, and Beary Smart Lunches to form HHG. The culinary team and waitstaff cater a wide array of affairs from private food truck parties to backyard BBQ's to lavish weddings and many more!
Always well regarded and focused on quality products, HHG has won several accolades including 4 consecutive years as a Thumbtack Top Pro and a 2019 Couple's Choice Award. Working with local farmers and purchasing from purveyors that support the local movement, our goal is to utilize products within a 250-mile radius of our kitchen. In addition, we continue to pledge to work with more like-minded businesses that encourage raising animals in humane conditions, without the use of growth hormones.
